본 연구는 서구의 마음챙김 자기연민(MSC) 프로그램을 한국 노인의 인지•정서적 특성에 부합하도록 ‘감각 회상 통합’ 구조로 재구성한 연민명상 프로그램의 효과를 검증하였다. 수도권에 거주하는 노인 10명을 대상으로 12회기 집단 프로그램을 실시하고, 혼합연구방법을 적용하였다. 양적 자료는 윌콕슨 부호순위 검정을 통해 분석하였으며, 질적 자료는 주제 분석법을 활용하였다. 연구 결과, 신체 감각 중심 개입은 노인의 신체적 안전기지를 형성하여 자기친절을 촉진하였고, 인생 곡선을 활용한 회상은 고립감을 유의하게 감소시키며(p = .024) 고통의 보편성 인식을 통해 자아통합을 촉진하는 과정으로 나타났다. 또한 실존적 마음챙김은 우울 수준을 유의하게 감소시키며(p = .049), 죽음 수용을 매개로 삶의...
