  • Saved searches and followed topics, which we store to build your weekly research digest

  • Standard server logs, which record your IP address and the pages you request; we keep these for security, debugging, and abuse prevention
  • Search queries, which we process only to return your results
  • Session data and authentication tokens

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services
  • Personalize your experience, such as your bookmarked articles and research preferences
  • Facilitate community discussions and academic collaboration

  • Send you a weekly research digest email, only if you have saved searches or followed topics; every digest includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and pausing digests keeps your saved searches intact
  • Monitor and analyze trends and usage patterns
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent abuse, spam, and other illegal activities

  • Opt-out of promotional communications, and stop digest emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in any digest or from your saved searches page
  • Request correction of inaccurate information

7. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies only for sessions and authentication, such as keeping you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. For usage analytics we use Plausible, a privacy-focused, cookieless service that does not collect personal information or track you across sites. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, though blocking session cookies will prevent you from staying signed in.

Our platform may integrate with third-party academic databases and services. These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.

9. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware of such collection, we will take steps to delete the information.
