A proposed experimental protocol tests whether the psychedelic state arises from the radical pair mechanism (RPM) at the serotonin 5-HT2A receptor. The psychedelic ligand N,N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT) itself provides the hyperfine fields driving singlet-triplet oscillations. By synthesizing isotopically labeled variants (13C-DMT and 15N-DMT), nuclear spins are selectively modified without altering molecular geometry, charge, receptor affinity, or metabolic half-life. The kinetic isotope effect (KIE) is negligible for these substitutions (KIE < 1.04 and < 1.03). Any change in psychedelic phenomenology under these substitutions would constitute direct evidence for the magnetic isotope effect (MIE) and thus the RPM in conscious experience.

This work distinguishes animal imagination, tied to survival needs (B), from human imagination, which combines survival needs with ethical awareness and existential development (F). Drawing on the A-B.F-N model and Islamic scripture, it argues that human foundational imagination is an expression of internal sovereignty, corresponding to the divine breath in the Quran. Empirical evidence from dissociative states such as sleep-related eating disorder, sleep paralysis, and distracted driving shows that B and F are functionally separable. The Sovereign Integration Index (SII) and brain network analysis are proposed to measure manifestations of F. When B dominates F, human behavior resembles animal patterns; when F dominates, ethical responsibility emerges. Artificial intelligence is described as a pure B system simulating F outputs but lacking consciousness.

Intestinal inflammation arises from immune dysfunction, epithelial abnormalities, and gut microbiota imbalances, contributing to conditions like irritable bowel disease and depression. In a study using lipopolysaccharide (LPS) to induce systemic intestinal inflammation in tissue, LPS caused greater inflammation in the large intestine than in the small intestine. Psilocybin reduced inflammation in the large intestine when given either before or after LPS, but in the small intestine it worked only when given after LPS. Eugenol reduced inflammation only when applied after LPS in both tissues.

About one-third of people with major depressive disorder or bipolar depression do not get better with standard antidepressants, a condition called treatment-resistant depression. Ketamine and esketamine, which modulate the glutamate system by blocking NMDA receptors, can produce rapid antidepressant effects within hours when given intravenously at low doses. Esketamine nasal spray is approved for treatment-resistant depression and major depression with suicidal thoughts, based on clinical trials. These drugs offer a new approach focused on neuroplasticity rather than the older monoamine theory, but they require monitoring for side effects such as dissociation, sedation, and potential for misuse. Long-term safety and effective maintenance strategies still need to be established.

The Tetragrammaton YHWH is not a proper noun but an ontological statement derived from the Hebrew root ḥ-y-h/h-w-h, encoding continuous, self-sustaining, reflexively self-grounding Being. This same formal structure of singular, self-subsisting, self-knowing Being appears independently in Western ontology (Parmenides, Aristotle, Aquinas's Ipsum Esse Subsistens), Sufi metaphysics (Ibn ʿArabī's Waḥdat al-Wujūd), and Tantric Javanese philosophy (Mpu Tantular's Bhinneka Tunggal Ika). The convergence is neither accident nor projection: each tradition, pursuing the question of Being rigorously, encounters consciousness as the condition for ontological disclosure. Levinas's ethical critique is answered by showing non-dual consciousness radicalizes responsibility. Theravāda anattā and Kabbalistic Ein Sof are clarified as convergent; Jainism, Sāṃkhya, and Cārvāka sharpen the thesis's epistemological core.
