Relevance of Pragya yoga sadhana protocol in today’s context of general well-being

International Journal of Yogic Human Movement and Sports Sciences January 1, 2026 Varsha Singh, Gayatri Gurvendra

This research examines the current relevance of the Pragya Yoga Sadhana Protocol for general well-being. The protocol is a complete daily routine incorporating Gyan Yoga (self-realization at waking, elemental realization at night), Karma Yoga (sixteen asanas), and Bhakti Yoga (self-purification, devotion, Gayatri Mantra chanting, meditation on Savita, and water offering to the sun). The authors argue that practicing this protocol can help individuals become physically, mentally, and emotionally healthy and strong, and that it is suitable for children, women, and men of all ages. The paper proposes that general well-being is a key research topic and that this protocol offers a relevant solution.
