Under Gyan Yoga, the thoughtful practice includes Atmabodh (self-realization) at the time of waking up and Tattvabodh (elemental realization) at night. Under Karma Yoga, the asana-based practice includes sixteen asanas. Under Bhakti Yoga, the worship-based practice includes self-purification, devotion to the deity, chanting the Gayatri Mantra, meditation on the Savita deity, and an offering of water to the sun (Suryarghya) followed by immersion (visarjan).
