Alexei Kozlov’s Panpsychism in the Context of Contemporary Analytic Philosophy of Mind

This work examines whether a connection can be found between the classical panpsychism of Alexei Alexandrovich Kozlov and contemporary panpsychism in analytic philosophy of mind. It discusses the main features of Kozlov's panpsychism and difficulties in modern interpretation of his doctrine. The author demonstrates interpretive approaches that help overcome these difficulties. Despite the specific understanding of panpsychism in the Russian tradition, which outwardly differs significantly from the modern one, this understanding does not prevent classical approaches from productively interacting with their modern forms, though it makes this task much more difficult.
