The Brain as a Conceptual Prime-Compliant Sorting Computer. a Cognitive Framework under the Computational Knowledge Theory (CKT)

Consciousness can be formally modeled as a conceptual prime-reduction operator within the Computational Knowledge Theory (CKT) framework. Every conscious cognitive operation—perception, attention, memory encoding, decision, and creative exploration—is computationally equivalent to reducing an infinite substrate of potential representations to a finite, Prime-compliant actualization. The brain functions as a Prime-grounded sorting computer, performing parallel quench-cluster operations over high-dimensional information space to select representations that minimize the Conciseness Cost Functional. Each of five Conceptual Primes corresponds to a distinct neuro-computational subsystem, and pathological states like hallucination and obsessive-compulsive fixation are predictable as Prime-violation failure modes. Consciousness is the unique physical process bridging infinite potential and finite actionable knowledge.
