Methoxetamine, a designer drug sold as a substitute for the dissociative anesthetic ketamine, has been linked to numerous hospital intoxications and deaths across Europe.
Polyclonal antibodies produced in rabbits against novel haptens derived from tryptamine-based drugs—DMT, 5-MeO-DMT, and DiPT—show good reactivity and low detection limits (0.006-0.254 ng mL-1) in ELISAs, making them suitable for developing immunochemical assay kits to simplify detection of these hallucinogenic drugs in body fluids.
