A Postmodern (Singularity) Future with a Post-Human Godless Algorithm: Trans-Humanism, Artificial Intelligence, and Dataism

This manuscript argues that understanding the ethical consequences of a post-human condition in transhumanist ontology is hindered by postmodern epistemology, which lacks metaphysical and theological foundations. The author traces transhumanism's philosophical genealogy from modern to postmodern epistemology, contending that its ideology—marked by the 'death of God' and 'death of human'—pursues an ateleological state that worships technology. The text deconstructs concepts like Singularity, Artificial Super Intelligence, and Dataism, and critiques transhumanist proponents for anthropomorphizing AI while altering sacred definitions of consciousness and intelligence. Drawing on Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics and Al-Ghazali's Alchemy of Happiness, the author proposes that ignoring Dataism's implications obscures virtuous techne and the pursuit of eudaimonia.
