PROPOSAL FOR A HOLISTIC MINDFULNESS-BASED INTERVENTION PROGRAM FOR THE CLASSROOM TEACHERS WITH MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS
International Journal of Education Psychology and Counseling September 15, 2019 Phuong Lan Nguyen, Cong Du Huynh
Teachers' mental health problems are often overlooked despite their potential to harm students. This paper reviews literature to categorize common mental health issues among teachers and proposes a holistic mindfulness-based intervention program. The program includes 2 modules with 9 sessions, each lasting 60 minutes. The authors argue that such an intervention could address the lack of support for teachers' mental well-being.
