Over six months, Ayurvedic medical students who practiced Transcendental Meditation showed substantial improvements in emotional intelligence and significant reductions in perceived stress, fatigue, and insomnia severity compared to a control group. Emotional intelligence improved across all four subdomains: wellbeing, emotionality, self-control, and sociability. The control group did not show similar changes. These findings suggest that regular Transcendental Meditation practice can promote psychological resilience and well-being in high-stress academic environments.
