The Continuum of Local Presents: A Conscientropic Framework for the Fractal Emergence of Consciousness and Its Dissociative Fragmentation

Consciousness is proposed to be an adimensional, non-local informational field rather than something generated by the brain. The brain acts as a registration interface that accommodates an infinite continuum of infinitesimal micro-awareness states. A principle called Conscientropy—a form of negentropic unification—integrates these disjointed micro-states into a unified ego. The framework is positioned in dialogue with Integrated Information Theory and Global Workspace Theory, and is applied to interpret split-brain phenomena and clinical dissociation.
