Abstract
In this chapter, Genesee Herzberg and Jason Butler weave together relational psychoanalytic theory and technique with contemporary psychedelic research and clinical experience to articulate a model for relational psychedelic therapy. The authors give specific attention to the process of healing the relational wounds of developmental trauma through attunement to the unconscious interpersonal dynamics that emerge between client and therapist in psychedelic-assisted therapy.
