Abstract
The article discusses different brain models in cognitive science, as well as evolutionary, hierarchic, orchestrated, adaptive, system oriented, biocultural and intutional and transcendent brain and mind perspectives. The Triune models are discussed in detail with its limitations in the light of new findings and scientific developments. The different paradigms of brain models are related to psychology, self awareness, mind management, including behavioral and mystic mentation methods. Socio cultural behaviors and biocultural interphases are also highlighted. The transcendent intuitional mind and mysticism are related neuro scientifically in a context of mind management and self enhancement. In fact some of the brain processes that lead to such transcendent moments of mystical experiences may stem from the brain letting go of inhibitions. This can happen in cases of NDE and OBE ,as widely reported. These are perceptual states of an extended Intutional Brain and its Transcendent ethic of mind beyond brain ,which can have cognitive and cultural salience for self management, and mind studies.
