Abstract
There are many pathological and non-pathological conditions that can help to bring the explanation of general characteristics and the dynamic of consciousness awareness and its components. In this account, the theoretical frameworks of selection, comparison and completeness, attached to a higher cognitive processes in a human brain, was explored. With the admission of composed consciousness-related phenomena, pointing on the general process within workspace environment and basing on informational perspective, behavioral observations and psychophysiological outcomes, the functional dependencies between mechanisms maintaining an informational flow and one of the main phenomena that has strong potential to reveal the exact phenomenology of cognitive functions - the forms of perceptual alternation, was observed. The alternation mechanisms might help to extract additional explanations of how humans percept the sensory input and then develop mental representation of it. The attempt has been made to hypothesize the very concept of the system occupied the highest human behavioral dynamic, disconnection of which could cause agnosia-related phenomena, including various anosognosia manifestations. The explanation of workspace environment functional structure, in conjunction with multistability at psychophysiological layer of cognitive dynamic, was proposed, as well as how appearances of perceptual deviations might help to understand the structure of functional consciousness awareness.
