Abstract
Almost all the artistic worlds created by Andrey Bely are structured around the eternal struggle between Chaos and Cosmos. This struggle reflects what may be described as the myth of the re-creation of a world of full cosmic consciousness. The aim of this study is to examine how this aestheticphilosophical principle is embodied in Bely’s short prose work Kotik Letaev.
