Abstract
In the context of increasing psychological strain and complexity within educational systems, there is growing interest in leadership approaches that integrate wellbeing with organizational practice. This conceptual and integrative study introduces the Transformative Educational Leadership for Inner Well-Being (TEL-IWB) framework, which offers a structured perspective on the relationship between internal processes and leadership practice. The framework is developed through a conceptual synthesis methodology that integrates insights from transpersonal psychology, transformative learning theory, and research on wellbeing and educational leadership. TEL-IWB conceptualizes leadership development as an interaction between three interconnected processes: awareness alignment, emotional coherence, and compassionate action. These processes are proposed as mechanisms through which leaders may support reflective decision-making, relational responsiveness, and organizational functioning in educational contexts. In this way, the framework connects internal regulatory processes with observable leadership practices and systemic outcomes. The study contributes to the literature by positioning inner wellbeing as a component that interacts with leadership processes rather than as an individual outcome. It also offers a conceptual foundation for future empirical research examining the relationship between internal regulation, leadership practice, and organizational dynamics in education.
