This review critically explores the cognitive and neurophysiological benefits associated with mantra meditation, emphasizing its role in enhancing brain function, emotional regulation, and psychological resilience. Drawing from empirical studies and neuroscientific literature, the paper highlights how repetitive vocalizations of sacred sounds can foster neuroplasticity, modulate brain wave activity (particularly in the alpha and theta bands), and induce favorable changes in regions such as the prefrontal cortex and temporal lobes.
