Summary
AI-generated from the abstractMindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) lowered baby blues scores in three postpartum mothers, suggesting the program can reduce the tendency toward this mild form of postpartum depression. The single-case experiment tracked changes in each participant after the intervention, and visual analysis of the data showed a decrease in baby blues scores for all three women. Without treatment, baby blues can develop into full postpartum depression. The results indicate MBSR may be an effective intervention for managing baby blues in new mothers.

Abstract
Baby blues are a common disorder experienced by women in the postpartum period. Baby blues are classified as mild postpartum depression but if left untreated can develop into postpartum depression.
