Psychedelic medicine must embrace high-quality, culturally sensitive, relational, and community-based education of facilitators in order to reduce risks and increase benefits. The University of California, Berkeley Psychedelic Facilitation Certificate Program (UC Berkeley PFCP) aims to provide this training through a mindfully crafted program. This paper outlines the UC Berkeley training model, focusing particularly on the training program’s relational and culturally sensitive approach.
