The N,N-dimethyltryptamines: N,N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT), 5-methoxy-N,N-dimethyltryptamine (5-OMe-DMT) and 5-hydroxy-dimethyltryptamine (bufotenin) were completely derivatized to trimethylsilyl (TMS) derivatives with the TMS substituent on the indolic nitrogen.
