This paper argues that Hatha Yoga, an ancient practice, may serve as a complementary therapy for Covid-19 by addressing Kapha Doshas. It describes practices from Hatha Yoga texts, including shattkarma, asana, mudra-bandha, and meditation, which are proposed to balance Kapha Doshas and promote overall health. The authors contend that yoga, which encompasses various streams such as Raja, Karma, Jnana, and Bhakti Yoga, benefits both body and mind. They suggest that these yogic exercises could be a potential supportive treatment for pandemics like Covid-19, drawing on Indian wisdom and Ayurveda.
