Model Implementasi Spiritual Mindfulness untuk Penguatan Mental Health Remaja di Sekolah Islam

Daarus Tsaqofah July 15, 2026 Minhatin Afiyah, Moh Milladun Hakimin 'Alim, Abdullah Qohi

Two models of spiritual mindfulness implementation in Islamic secondary schools strengthen adolescent mental health. A ritual-collective approach uses structured communal religious practices such as dhikr and congregational prayer to create emotional stability before academic activities. A reflective-dialogical approach integrates mentoring and spiritual counseling that facilitate cognitive reappraisal and personal meaning-making. Drawing on emotion regulation theory and religious coping frameworks, the study demonstrates that spiritual mindfulness functions as religious cognitive reappraisal that enhances emotional regulation, resilience, and psychological well-being. From a Sufi perspective, these practices correspond to muraqabah, muhasabah, and tazkiyat al-nafs. The research proposes an integrative model rooted in Islamic epistemology coherent with contemporary psychological frameworks.
