Positive mindfulness therapy increased affective capital and positive metaemotion, and reduced negative metaemotion, in women with generalized anxiety disorder in Isfahan, Iran. In a quasi-experimental study with 30 participants randomly assigned to an experimental or control group, the experimental group received eight 60-minute weekly sessions. Gains were maintained at a three-month follow-up. The authors argue that combining mindfulness with positivity techniques helps regulate emotions and enhance character capabilities, thereby reducing anxiety.
