Therapeutic significance of dreams in homoeopathy

Dreams have been interpreted across cultures and eras as prophetic, divine, or psychological expressions. In homoeopathy, dreams are considered valuable indicators of a patient's inner state, revealing latent fears, desires, conflicts, and emotional patterns not evident during waking life. Classical homoeopathic literature highlights the role of dreams in remedy selection and case analysis. This article explores the meaning, evolution, physiology, and interpretation of dreams, with special reference to homoeopathy, emphasizing their use in case-taking and repertorial analysis for individualized treatment.
