Meditation and mindfulness have been central to Indian philosophical traditions for millennia, serving as tools for self-awareness, spiritual growth, and liberation (moksha). This paper examines the historical, theoretical, and practical dimensions of these practices within Vedanta, Yoga, and Buddhism. By analyzing ancient texts and contemporary interpretations, it shows how meditation and mindfulness have evolved and shaped global perspectives on well-being and mental health.
