Path to Executive Performance and Well-Being: Applying Raja Yoga in Modern Business
Preprints.org February 27, 2026 Saran Singh preprint
Raja Yoga, an ancient contemplative practice from Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, offers a comprehensive framework for addressing stress, distraction, and disconnection in contemporary business professionals. The practice enhances physical health, self-discipline, productivity, responsibility, interpersonal relationships, resilience, and cognitive functions like focus and concentration, while reducing stress and anxiety. The paper suggests that Raja Yoga provides not just stress management techniques but a path to sustainable well-being and professional excellence. Future research directions include longitudinal studies on business performance, neurobiological investigations, cultural adaptation research, and organizational integration strategies.
