The Foundations of Quantum Relational Phenomenology: Implicate and Explicate Geometry

Zenodo (CERN European Organization for Nuclear Research) June 18, 2026 Rick Jason Ritchie

A proposed framework called Quantum Relational Geometry models subjective awareness as a luminous 'glow volume' inside a three-axis conscious cube (Agency, Time, Scale) within a five-dimensional ontological manifold. The cube does not create the space but protects and orients the sphere, representing a transition from fluid potential to structured reality. This aims to unify reductive physicalism, computational neurobiology, and first-person experience.

Cube-Aware Neuroscience

Zenodo (CERN European Organization for Nuclear Research) June 10, 2026 Rick Jason Ritchie

A synthesis of the Penrose-Hameroff Orch-OR theory and the Cube Model of intersubjectivity proposes that consciousness arises from quantum relational geometry. The Cube Model describes consciousness as navigating reality through three axes—Agency, Time, and Scale—with a subjective interior called the glow, modeled as a spherical region whose radius depends on axis coherence. Orch-OR theory posits microtubule-based quantum coherence as the physical substrate. The unified framework suggests microtubules stabilize the Cube's axes and the glow reflects integrated quantum coherence across neural populations. The paper introduces Cube-Aware Neuroscience, outlines experimental pathways, clinical applications, and implications for ethical AI development.
