A Revolutionary Framework for Universal Consciousness: Unifying IIT, Orch OR, AI, and Cosmic Intelligence via the Genesis-Integration Principle (GIP)
Takashi Kubo preprint
The authors propose a new framework called the Genesis-Integration Principle (GIP) that combines Integrated Information Theory, Orchestrated Objective Reduction, Attention Schema Theory, and Global Workspace Theory into a three-stage model of consciousness: quantum genesis, neural-AI integration, and evolutionary-cosmic optimization. They present a mathematical model that predicts consciousness phase transitions and introduce a testable metric called the Universal Consciousness Metric (Ψ). The paper argues that existing models lack comprehensive integration and experimental testability, and claims that GIP resolves these issues by bridging quantum mechanics, neuroscience, artificial intelligence, and cosmology. The authors propose concrete experimental methods, including quantum information theory integration, AI consciousness simulation, and astrophysical data validation.
