Abstract

Mothers caring for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder often face ongoing stress, emotional challenges, and significant caregiving responsibilities. These factors can affect family dynamics and the quality of support services available for disabilities. Although traditional counselling can offer some psychological relief, it may lack personalization, scalability, or ongoing monitoring. This chapter presents a mindfulness-based intervention enhanced by artificial intelligence, utilizing established techniques like Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction to provide flexible and accessible mental health resources. By combining AI with structured mindfulness practices, this approach seeks to improve emotional regulation, promote increased caregiver engagement, and foster better collaboration with disability service organizations. The chapter emphasizes that AI-enhanced mindfulness can serve as a valuable resource to bolster caregiver resilience and facilitate more efficient and responsive delivery of disability services.
