This study aims to check health awareness and look at the contemporary significance of the good practices of the past through a review of the main methods of curing breathing in Yang-Sseng(; Curing, 養生). We looked for a recognition of the concept and the good cure for the curing conditions in the period. Curing can be seen from breathing are simply accepted as the only means major concepts of health care for non-life-support. Starting with the definition and function of the respiratory addressed to it by the personnel who practice breathing in history. Joseon Dynasty, Confucianism was favored as a way to keep a clear mind through breathing placed in groups dominated by the superiority of spiritual values. Espouse a particular case of Zhu Xi (朱子) who claimed 'Jou-Sic-Jam (調息箴)’. it was actively accepted among the gentry. Breathing is strong curing especially for the Daoism, it shows the fact that Confucianism will embrace their flexible thinking as a practical example of duality. One of the most focused breathing is called Taesik (胎息) and the evidence will ever recognize the value with the breathing. On the other hand, ‘Taesik’ was equal and fundamental with Confucian ideology that was the pursuit of human nature to yearn for a return to the starting point of his existence. And ‘Taesik’ has still valided for health value today, and breathing meditation for busy modern people. Breath of our ancestors appeared in the literature shows that it been a day-to-day, it can be seen that encourages engagement and discipline of Confucianism. When China focused on breathing method, our country focused on the attitude of breath. However, it will all breathe curing is commonly called Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism that transcends ideological and religious lines.
