Abstract
Human well-being, overall and immune system health, is the result of many variables, and an individual’s adaptive abilities. By understanding the connections between everyday choices, the laws governing the body, and additionally considering the social, psycho-emotional, cultural, spiritual, and environmental aspects of humanity, people can avoid disease themselves. Moreover, for the chronically ill, it could also increase their chances of survival or even return to health by raising their awareness and implementing some of the possible and easy-to-use techniques. Immunology, as an advanced field of medicine, is still evolving and can be difficult to understand for many people, including scientists specializing in other disciplines. In the face of a rapid increase in the incidence of both civilization-related and autoimmune diseases, this work aims to bridge the gap between science and everyday human life. Looking for a more human-centered dimension of medicine and immunology science, the impact of easy-to-apply daily practices on health and the immune system is worth exploring. In this context, authors present stress reduction techniques such as meditation and prayer, as well as ways to enhance their effects through activities in nature, for example, calming walks or pilgrimages. Similarly, the intricacies of many traditions, including religion, remained mysterious despite being known for years. These activities are seldom covered in the literature on immune system health, and this study helps readers gain a better understanding of these relationships. It can also help to restore some of the heritage of preventive healthcare in support of modern, conventional treatments.
