Abstract

Abstract The historical cycle—the wave-like recurrence of dynastic rise and fall, civilizational flourishing and decline, and social transformation—is one of the most perplexing and inescapable phenomena of human civilization. Drawing upon the concept of the Collective Consciousness Field within Yuanling Theory, this paper proposes that the historical cycle is not an incomprehensible vortex of fate, but a dynamical necessity of the Collective Consciousness Field governed by principles such as Energy Balance, Frequency Resonance, Will Intensity, and Interactive Evolvability. The paper systematically expounds the ontological foundation of civilization as a Collective Consciousness Field, reveals the intrinsic mechanisms of social energy accumulation, cultural interface rigidification, critical phase transition, and civilizational reconstruction, and analyzes the dynamical nature of phase transitions including violent revolution, non-violent transformation, and gradual reform. It further argues that every historical reconstruction constitutes a civilizational leap—purging decay, restructuring interfaces, and ascending in dimensionality. This paper contends that as more individuals consciously optimize their own consciousness structures and participate in the construction of the Collective Consciousness Field, human civilization may have the potential to break free from the old cycle of “chaos and order” and advance toward a new epoch of self-organized, orderly, and creative resonance within the Collective Consciousness Field.
