Embedded Process argues that many debates about mind, experience, and formal representation are distorted by a false choice: either reality is one and a sufficiently strong structural description should eventually capture everything that matters, or experience and lived significance force some kind of dualism or metaphysical split. This paper rejects that choice. The core claim is that reality is ontologically one, but for finite embedded beings it is most adequately disclosed under processual rather than static terms. All disclosure proceeds through conditioned cuts shaped by standpoint, interface, level, purpose, and finitude. In some domains—especially subject-process domains involving lived perspective, self-maintenance, and world-coupling—no single finite cut can be presumed to preserve both structural organization and lived significance without residue.
