Abstract

The Certified Tantra® Course, divided into three modules, begins on Fridays at 6:00 PM and concludes on Sundays at 8:00 PM. Students acquire all the tools of tantra practice and a series of exercises to be performed over the following 15 days. At the end of this period, a follow-up meeting is held to monitor progress and provide a final set of exercises to maximize the benefits of the practice. This course—developed by Oscar R. Gómez (Osy)—provides mental retraining that increases the capacity for joy and focus, allows for conscious emotional management, develops confidence and self-esteem, and enables participants to live and sleep without tension or stress; in other words, to lead a full, conscious, coherent, productive, and happy life. Before beginning instruction, participants' physical and cognitive abilities are assessed to ensure they can clearly understand the instructions. They are trained during this period, which, for those who cannot attend on a weekend, takes place over 4 hours a day on Mondays for 12 weeks. During the training, participants are continuously monitored, and at the end, their mastery of the practice is verified. During the training, participants acquire meditation techniques from the esoteric Hindu Tantrism of the Kaula school and from esoteric Tantric Buddhism – Vajrayana. These are: g-tummo, Opening Meditation, Generating as a Deity, and Rig-pa.
