Abstract

Abstract The present study investigates the effect of Raja Yoga meditation on managing occupational stress related to Physical Environment at workplace among employees of Information Technology sector. The target population considered in this study were professionals working in Information and Technology sector. A group of 60 people working is IT sector was utilized by using purposive sampling technique. OSI-R Test designed and standardized by Samuel H. Osipow (1998) was used as tool. Mean, Standard Deviation, Paired t was administered and results obtained were compared with the controlled group. It is found that the intervention of Raja Yoga meditation has reduced the occupational stress related to Physical Environment at workplace among the IT professionals.
