Abstract

Sleep may appear to be the easiest thing for human beings; however, it is, in fact, a complex phenomenon influenced by many factors—including sleep disorders. Being unable to sleep normally brings great threat to the publication of human beings. In order to avoid many bad consequences, scientists have found ways to deal with them. This article discusses some different sleep disorders, ways to reduce their effects, and most importantly, the effects of mindfulness meditation on sleep. For individuals unfamiliar with this field, this study serves two primary purposes: to provide a general overview of existing knowledge and to help reduce societal misunderstandings about those who suffer from sleep disorders. Ultimately, this awareness may foster a more supportive and inclusive environment. This paper also addresses key questions such as: What are the types of sleep disorders? What is the relationship between meditation and sleep? Research suggests meditation can positively affect sleep, such as better sleep quality, easier to fall asleep, and reducing the negative effects of sleep disorders on people.
