Abstract
Amerindian corporeality resides in diverse scenic expressions in the popular cultures of Brazil. Among indigenous peoples, the symbolic value of the shaman in his/her community permeates multiple social functions and among them are spiritual, pedagogical and artistic roles. The transdisciplinary aspects presented by the artography transit along the paths of researching, creating and teaching, territories familiar to the Amerindian cosmopolitical shamanic practice. The study presented in this article reflects on the multifaceted presence of shamanic corporeality in the performative exercise of the interpreters of the scene, based on a theoretical-practical research at the Interpretation Laboratory: cosmopolitical poetics of the actor/actress-shaman.
