Abstract
يندرج مبحث القصدية في الأصل ضمن فلسفة العقل ويعد من أهم مباحثها الشائكة، التي تمثل إشكالًا فلسفيًا عميقًا. إذ قامت نظريات عديدة ومذاهب فلسفية كاملة على نظرية القصدية وذلك يرجع لتعقد مسائلها وصعوبة دراستها والبحث فيها، لدرجة أن الفيلسوف الأمريكي جون سيرل يصفها (المشكلة). حيث يقول في معرض ترتيبها ضمن مشاكل فلسفة العقل (تأتي القصدية في المرتبة الثانية أما المرتبة الأولى فتأتي مشكلة الوعي). إن مشكلة القصدية هي انعكاس مباشر لمشكلة الوعي فهو دليل قاطع على قوة الترابط الموجودة بينهما، فالقصد هو توجه النفس إلى الشيء أو انبعاثها نحو ما تراه موافقها وهو مرادف للنية وهناك فلاسفة يطلقون عليه (التوجه الذهني). أما الوعي فهو الحالة العقلية التي يتم من خلالها إدراك الوقائع والحقائق التي تجرى في العالم من حولنا.
