Abstract
This study developed, designed, and demonstrated a low-arousal clock face intended to reduce Time Monitoring Behavior (TMB) stimuli. The research discussed the interrelationships of the five senses during the sleep cycle, identifying external stimuli suitable for time interface design. This aims to resolve the contradiction of using smartwatches to monitor sleep while the readily accessible time display disrupts sleep. By integrating the real-time physiological and environmental sensing capabilities of smartwatches, we propose an Internet of Things (IoT) system structure. The goal is to enable insomniacs to customize a comfortable sleep environment at home, thereby aiding in the treatment of insomnia and improving sleep quality.
