Abstract

This paper develops an invariant-based organizational framework for extraordinary conscious experiences. Building upon previous work concerning constraint organization and organizational continuity, the analysis shifts attention away from variable experiential contents and toward conserved phenomenological characteristics that may persist across diverse forms of extraordinary experience. Six candidate invariants are proposed, including both positive and negative invariants. The paper further introduces observer-oriented and actor-oriented organizational regimes, interprets Transitional Regime as a metastable intermediate condition, and examines the significance of transition dynamics, embodiment, agency, and accessibility. Extraordinary experiences are approached as perturbation conditions capable of revealing organizational features ordinarily obscured within waking consciousness. The framework advances no claims concerning survival after death, dualism, supernatural causation, or violations of physical causal closure. Instead, it offers a speculative but disciplined conceptual architecture intended to organize diverse reports, generate falsifiable questions, and complement existing investigations of neural correlates with consideration of organizational correlates and invariant properties.
