Unity is the beginning and end of the universe, a view supported by spirituality, mysticism, philosophy, transpersonal and integral psychology, quantum physics, and artistic creation. Society's loss of a religated sense of totality risks nihilism. Reality should be understood as a holographically interconnected network of energy and information. Transpersonal psychology perceives a single universal being or divine unit. Humans are part of an intelligent, self-conscious, spirit-bearing whole manifesting in a transpersonal psyche and collective unconscious. This superconsciousness or cosmic mind identifies us with divinity. Artistic creation connects to a suprapersonal dimension and is a prime way to experience the oceanic feeling of cosmic unity.
