Efektivitas Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) untuk Mengurangi Gangguan Kecemasan dan Depresi pada Orang Dewasa

Journal of Telenursing April 10, 2023 Mery Mirna Leni, Meidiana Dwidiyanti, Alifiati Fitrikasari

Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) reduces symptoms of anxiety and depression in adults. The intervention is delivered once a week for eight sessions, each lasting two hours under a therapist's guidance. It includes health education about anxiety symptoms, mindfulness training and meditation exercises led by the therapist, and independent home activities of 15-30 minutes per guidelines. The evidence comes from a systematic review, which suggests MBCT is an effective non-pharmacological treatment alongside medication for adult patients with anxiety and depression.
