The article examines whether spirituality can coexist within Goldenberg's materialist framework. It shows how Freudian psychoanalysis can resurrect the body from its role as a signifier of death and dissolution. The author argues that body and spirit can be united to allow the body to flourish, proposing a 'thinking through the body' that is best achieved when grounded in goddess spirituality.
