Structured Patterns in Anomalous Experience: A Longitudinal Developmental Analysis of a UAP Experiencer Dataset

Anomalous experiences across a single individual's life show a coherent developmental trajectory rather than being isolated episodes. A longitudinal analysis of narrative material spanning nearly five decades identified 41 primary encounters, coded using a ten-category taxonomy and a six-stage developmental model. An additional 22 sub-phases were extracted from complex late-life encounters, yielding 63 experiential units. Quantitative analyses reveal increasing structural complexity, symbolic mediation, guided transitions, and multi-layered perceptual environments over time. Early experiences were sparse and perceptually simple, while post-2019 encounters exhibited pronounced architectural sophistication and recurring interactional intent. These results suggest that anomalous experiences may unfold as components of a progressive experiential system with underlying organizational dynamics evolving alongside cognitive and interpretive development.
