International Journal of Emerging Knowledge Studies. January 30, 2025 P Yoga
A six-week program of quiet breathing pranayama and mantra meditation, practiced five days per week, significantly improved self-confidence among working women aged 25–35 in Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu, India. Thirty participants were randomly assigned to an experimental or control group. Self-confidence, measured with Vealey’s Trait Sport Confidence Inventory, increased in the experimental group relative to the control group. The authors suggest that the combined practice positively impacts self-confidence.
