Mindfulness-based stress reduction therapy reduces subjective bother and alters neural connectivity in people with chronic tinnitus. The therapy lowered tinnitus-related distress and was associated with changes in brain network connectivity, suggesting that mindfulness training can modulate the neural processes underlying the condition.
