Efeitos do uso da Ayahuasca utilizada em Cerimônias religiosas sobre aspectos emocionais dos participantes

Most participants reported positive emotional experiences after using ayahuasca in a religious context, including improved interpersonal relationships outside the religious setting, deeper self-knowledge, and enhanced spirituality. The qualitative study involved 10 members of the Santo Daime ayahuasca religion, aged 21 to 42, in Paulo Afonso, Bahia. Data were collected through participant observation, field diaries, and semi-structured interviews. The study notes a positive bias in its sample, as participants who experienced benefits were more likely to participate, and the qualitative design and convenience sampling prevent generalization of results.
