Evaluating the Impact of Sahaja Yoga Meditation on Anxiety and Depression Using Machine Learning Models
International Journal of Latest Technology in Engineering Management & Applied Science January 15, 2026
Practicing Sahaja Yoga meditation is associated with reduced anxiety and depression. In a study using machine learning models (Random Forest, Support Vector Machines, Gradient Boosting) to analyze data from participants who practiced the meditation over weeks, health assessments with GAD-7 and PHQ-9 scales before and after the intervention showed drops in anxiety and depression scores. The machine learning models identified factors that contributed to these improvements. The findings suggest that combining meditation with data-driven methods can enhance mental health monitoring and support personalized well-being interventions, demonstrating that machine learning can objectively confirm therapeutic benefits.
