LuciEntry HOME: An Anywhere Lucid Dream Induction Prototype

Lucid dreaming allows individuals to be aware they are dreaming and sometimes control the dream, offering benefits like entertainment, improved mental well-being, reduced nightmares, skill enhancement, creative inspiration, and problem-solving. However, manipulating dream content is challenging, even for experienced lucid dreamers. DreamCeption is a prototype that uses brain and eye activity sensors to detect lucid dreaming and then provides visual and auditory stimuli to guide the dreamer toward desired content. The system aims to make the benefits of lucid dreaming more accessible. It is expected to interest human-computer interaction researchers in exploring digital lucid dreaming applications.

Lucid Loop: A Virtual Deep Learning Biofeedback System for Lucid Dreaming Practice

Lucid Loop is a proof-of-concept virtual reality system that uses biofeedback and deep-learning AI to simulate the experience of lucid dreaming while awake. Dormio: Interfacing with Dreams

A new interactive interface called Dormio enables human-machine interaction during hypnagogia, the semi-lucid sleep state at sleep onset. The system is designed to work across levels of consciousness and can direct dream content to augment human creativity. This work opens a window for HCI research into hypnagogia, extending interactive technology into states previously inaccessible.
